Kurt Colvin, Ph.D, P.E.
Industrial Engineering Dept.
Kurt Colvin received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University. He joined the Cal Poly faculty in 2000 and is a tenured professor in the department of industrial and manufacturing engineering and a registered Professional Engineer in California.

Darren Kraker
Digital Transformation Hub
Darren Kraker earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from Humboldt State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering. Prior to his time at Cal Poly, Mr. Kraker worked as a software engineer at Boeing, and led the redesign of a commercial aerospace application.

Ryan Matteson, MS, CISA, CISSP
Deputy CIO – Information Technology Services
Ryan Matteson is the Deputy CIO at California Polytechnic State University, and Director of Systemwide Cloud Acceleration for the California State University system. In these roles he brings transformative technologies to the University and guides teams from across California to implement cloud services.
